Outdoor stone work is our specialty, but the same crew takes on decks, slabs, exterior work, indoor remodels and repairs all year, so one call can cover the whole project.
Construction
Oscar Cruz Construction is best known for hardscapes, but the same crew takes on construction too. Larger jobs often mix trades. Our photos show a full backyard rebuild with a new deck, lit steps, a block retaining wall and a concrete patio underneath, all done by one crew.
- Decks and stairs: framing, stairs and railings, often paired with a patio and wall below.
- Raising and rebuilding decks. Gennadi T. had us raise his deck and redirect his retaining walls.
- Concrete slabs for sheds, pads, covered porches and site work.
- Exterior work such as siding and chimney work from scaffolding.
Decks
Decks often come together with the outdoor work below them. Our photos show new decks with stairs and railings built above a block retaining wall and a concrete or paver patio, so the whole backyard was planned as one job. We also raise and rebuild existing decks.
Remodeling
When the weather turns, the crew moves indoors. Remodels and upgrades keep the same careful approach as the outdoor work: we see the space, give you a price for the job, and the crew carries it through. Tell us what you have in mind and we will tell you honestly whether it is a job for us.
Repairs
Not every job is new. We fix things too:
- Driveway patches, broken sections and aprons.
- Flagstone and pool deck repairs, including around skimmers and drains.
- Leaning or failing retaining walls (see retaining walls).
- Washed-out ground under slabs and walks.
- Decks, structures and finishes that need careful work.

- You reach out by phone, text or the form, with photos if you have them.
- Free estimate. We look at the job and give you one price for the work.
- The crew does the work, keeping the site as tidy as the job allows.
- Walk-through. You look over the finished work with Oscar. Pay by cash, check or card.

Do you work in the winter?
Yes. Outdoor work continues when the weather allows, and indoor remodels and repairs keep the crew busy through the cooler months.
Can one crew handle a deck, a wall and a patio together?
Yes. That kind of combined job is shown in our photos, and doing it as one project keeps the schedule and the price simple.
Do you do small repairs?
Yes. Send a photo and a short description and Oscar will tell you if it is something we can help with.
Can you raise or rebuild an existing deck?
