Why the area matters for hardscape
Much of north metro Atlanta has clay soil and rolling ground. Clay holds water and moves as it wets and dries, and sloped lots push water toward houses, driveways and walls. That is why our jobs put so much into digging out soft soil, compacted gravel bases and drainage before the surface goes down. It is the difference between a patio that stays flat and one that sinks in a few years.
